In late 2025, Gary N6BLU, president of Coos Radio Club, initiated a project to update and reclaim the club’s online accounts. Currently, the club is testing a new connection by directing its news feed, “Currents,” to the CoosRadioClub Facebook Page, with assistance from Chip KE7ADD.
Rogue River Ranch POTA
Kelley (W7FCM), Sam (W7GNM), and Zach (K7FC) undertook a “PXpedition” to the US-10761 Rogue River Ranch, a historical site 65 miles from Powers. They faced limited access, met visitors during a ranch tour, and made 22 radio contacts. The trip highlighted the area’s history, emphasized in Kay Atwood’s book “Ilahe.”
