Parks On The Air and Summits On The Air.
Combine the passion for amateur radio with the great outdoors.
Parks On The Air (POTA) is a program where amateur radio operators conduct their own “Events.” They set up their stations in designated parks and natural areas around the world and make contacts.

Setting up a station is called an “Activation.” Listeners then “Hunt” for these transmissions, collecting QSO’s from Parks all over the world. It’s a perfect blend of fresh air, beautiful scenery, and the thrill of making DX contacts.
POTA & SOTA require operating in diverse environments, on portable gear to connect with a vibrant global community of activators and hunters.
