W1AW/7 250th & Year of the club.

Calling Statewide For Operators
August 19 – August 25, 2026

W1AW/7 is a portable amateur radio special event callsign used by operators in the ARRL (American Radio Relay League) call area 7 (which includes states like Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and Utah) as part of nationwide commemorative operations like America 250 and ARRL program events.

To operate as W1AW/7:

• You are an ARRL member
• Part of an ARRL affiliated club (K7CCH)
• Transmit from the state of Oregon
• Keep and submit an electronic log

Registering your operation avoids conflicts on the bands. Coordinated Slots are one hour long. You can register for as many slots as you like. There are several thousand slots available during the week.

Each band has a slot for digital, phone (except for 30m), and CW, and 6m, 2m, 70cm are in play.
