National Night Out (NNO) is on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. The nationwide annual event typically takes place on the first Tuesday in August to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
Heard around: Coquille is having an event. Also possibly Empire. But none of the Coos County municipalities are registered w/ the NNO – https://NATW.Org.
The NNO event has been described as another community preparedness exercise.
The focus is primarily on police, but we understand other first responder professionals commonly attend.
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
As of this post, CCRC has no plans to attend or participate. Club Members can explore their options as their interests may lead.
