1) W7O Oregon State Fair

August 28 - 31, 2026 
10 a.m. - 9 p.m. each day.

A fun opportunity to show off ham radio to the public.

2) W1AW/7 250th & Year of the club
Statewide operation
August 19 - August 25, 2026

In June, we had over 30 operators and made 3,800 QSOs. We can do better.
Each band has a slot for digital, phone (except for 30m), and CW, and 6m, 2m, 70cm are in play.

To operate as W1AW/7, you need to transmit a signal from the state of Oregon and keep an electronic log.

Slots are one hour long. You can register for as many slots as you like. There are several thousand slots available.

3) Willamette Valley DX Club picnic

The Willamette Valley DX Club covers most of Oregon and SW Washington. 
We're having a picnic in Scappoose.

Oregon and SW Washington's regional DX and contesting club.
WVDXC runs the 7th area QSL bureau and is an ARRL-affiliated club.

4) W7O State Fair commemorative
Statewide operation (for fun!)
August 26 - September 9, 2026

It's the 2026 Oregon State Fair!

This operation covers the entire duration of the state fair in Salem. 

Last year, we had 30+ ops and made thousands of QSOs. We had SO MUCH FUN that we are doing it AGAIN! 

In order to operate as W7O, you need to transmit a signal from the state of Oregon and keep an electronic log.

Slots are one hour long. You can register for as many slots as you like. 
Each band has a slot for digital, phone (except for 30m), and CW. And again...6m, 2m, 70cm are included.
