With over 20,000 operators in a population of 4 million, Oregon ranks third in the U.S. for amateur radio participation, emphasizing preparedness for natural disasters.

Armed Forces Day Cross Band Test

The Armed Forces Day Cross-band Test allows radio operators to interact with Military Affiliate Radio Service (MARS) stations beginning May 9th. This annual event features unique “split” frequency communication, offering participants a chance to learn and explore less commonly used modes.
