Coos Radio Club is seeking assistance to prepare the club trailer for Field Day, which includes removing sticker residue and applying new graphics. Additional tasks are available, and interested volunteers should RSVP for more information at Info@coosradioclub.com. Your help is appreciated for this important club event.

Tour ‘de Fronds This Weekend

The Coos County Radio Club is assisting the ARES group with communications for a race on Saturday, June 20th. Activities occur at various locations, and observers should check in with Net Control at the ARES Trailer by the Powers Water Treatment facility. Drivers are advised to be cautious of cyclists on the course.

CCRC Socials

In late 2025, Gary N6BLU, president of Coos Radio Club, initiated a project to update and reclaim the club’s online accounts. Currently, the club is testing a new connection by directing its news feed, “Currents,” to the CoosRadioClub Facebook Page, with assistance from Chip KE7ADD.

Rogue River Ranch POTA

Kelley (W7FCM), Sam (W7GNM), and Zach (K7FC) undertook a “PXpedition” to the US-10761 Rogue River Ranch, a historical site 65 miles from Powers. They faced limited access, met visitors during a ranch tour, and made 22 radio contacts. The trip highlighted the area’s history, emphasized in Kay Atwood’s book “Ilahe.”
